Black Anchor celebrates grand opening

Claude Trigg and son Robert quietly opened the Black Anchor Products company eight months ago on the northwest corner of Converse Street and Yellowstone Avenue. What started as a small at-home leatherworking partnership has grown into a true sporting goods store, boasting camping goods, rifles, pistols, bows and ammunition as well as hunting and fishing licenses.

The father and son team still create custom orders for “gun holsters and more”. The duo officially opened their doors Monday morning with the formal ribbon cutting through the Moorcroft Area Chamber of Commerce.
