Moorcroft Police Report

On June 9, police assisted Moorcroft Fire Department and Wyoming Highway Patrol at mile marker 156 I-90 westbound for a vehicle that was on fire. Officer was asked to assist in directing traffic to the passing lane while MFD put out the fire. After being released from traffic control, Officer was asked to go into town and try to contact the driver and hold them until WHP arrived. Officer was able to locate the driver for WHP. Nothing futther.

On June 11, police received a complaint of littering near the on-ramp of I-90 near Coffee Cup Fuel Stop. Officer went to the location and located a headlight assembly someone had left in the ditch. Unable to determine owner of the car part.

On June 11, police were called to a traffic crash at the Dollar General. Officer arrived on scene and spoke with the driver of the vehicle who had hit a post out front of the building. Report of damage to vehicle was taken, no damage to building.

On June 11, police were contacted regarding a dog at large chasing kids riding their bikes. Officer was able to make contact with the owner of the dog who was able to get their dog back onto their property. Nothing further.
