The Pine Haven Community Center Board held its first dance on Friday – the first in what it hopes will become a monthly affair. Organizer Karla Brandenburg estimates that around 60 people attended, which she notes is particularly impressive considering the frigid temperatures at the time.
“Volunteer DJs Tabin Boyer [and Donnie Donner] played everything from old country to rock n’ roll to today’s music for the very diverse crowd we had,” she says.
The board plans to schedule its next dance for Saturday, March 20 to coincide with St. Patrick’s Day.
