On January 5, police assisted Crook County Sheriff’s Office for a report of a domestic disturbance on Warbonnet Road. Officer responded to the scene along with a WHP Trooper and they spoke with the couple involved separately. Both parties denied any injuries or physical altercation. With no evidence of any physical altercation or concerns officer and trooper cleared. Nothing further.
On January 7, police were notified of a theft at Coffee Cup. Suspect entered the store and began trying on belts. Suspect put on two belts, did not pay for them and left the building. Investigation has stalled due to leads ending with no results.
On January 8, police were contacted regarding a possible drunk driver who hit the stop sign at the Post Office. Officer located the vehicle and driver driving down Lomac Street. Officer stopped the vehicle and spoke with the driver. Driver was subsequently arrested for DUI and Destruction of Property. Suspect was transported to Crook County Detention Center without incident.
