MIC food pantry reports incredible year

Moorcroft Interfaith Community (MIC) president Rev. Monte Reichenberg reports on the December and year-end numbers of people who have partaken of the generous bounty of food as well as an estimate of the amount of food provided.

Between the two MIC regular pantries and the Wyoming Food Bank of the Rockies Crook County-wide Mobile Food Pantry, 608 families 2,269 individuals were assisted in December. Of that number, 956 were children (0-17), 786 adults (18-59) and 287 were seniors (60 and up).

For the year, the Moorcroft Interfaith Regular Food Pantry exceeded 100,000 pounds of food distributed...
