Pine Haven upgrades community center

With the Pine Haven Community Center closed for the foreseeable future due to the reemergence of Covid in the neighborhood, the bid of $14,927 from Powder River Heating and Air Conditioning was accepted to upgrade lighting and heating at the center to be completed within the next couple of months.

This bid was more than $2000 less than the next of the three bids presented to the town for approval.

Mayor John Cook expressed his pleasure with the decision of the governing body. “They do a lot of work out here for us. They know us and they know how we work,” he said.
