The year of 2020 has been crazy for the students at Moorcroft High School. The MHS students celebrated their homecoming by having many activities during and after school during the week of October 5-9.
Monday, the student council put together a drive-in movie theater. Movie night was enjoyed by many MHS students, hanging with friends and watching Remember the Titans.
The rest of the week, students dressed up and voted for their Homecoming King and Queen. The Homecoming court were Tianne Fischbach, Allyssa Merchen, Tegean Timberman, Hunter Garoutte, Dekken Mayer and Lane Wood and the MHS student body voted Hunter Garoutte and Tegean Timberman for Homecoming King and Queen.
There was a Coronation Ceremony held to crown them, and afterward, the burning of the M, sponsored by Blakeman Propane. Many students attended as the seniors shared their excitement for their season closing and advice to underclassmen.
Student council overseer Felicia Sams kicked off our fun-filled afternoon with lunch, sponsored by Pinnacle Bank. The students had the afternoon to celebrate with several different activities such as kickball, flag football, cornhole, volleyball and bingo as well as a mini parade.
