Vice-Chairman, Roger Connett called to order the regular meeting of the Crook County Land Use Planning & Zoning Commission October 13, 2020 at 7:10 p.m.

Amend and Adopt the Agenda

Vice-Chairman, Roger Connett asked if there were any amendments to the agenda. Morgan Ellsbury made a motion to adopt the agenda as written; Mary Yemington seconded, all ayes, motion carried.

Approval of the Minutes

Vice-Chairman, Roger Connett asked if there were any additions or corrections to the September meeting minutes. Morgan Ellsbury made a motion to approve the minutes from the regular meeting held September 8, 2020; Mary Yemington seconded, all ayes, motion carried.

New Business

Crook County Draft NRMP Public Comment – Comment Letter

Vice-Chairman, Roger Connett opened discussion concerning the public comment for the draft of the Crook County Natural Resource Management Plan 2020. Discussion was held concerning the commission submitting a comment letter or a letter of support for the draft plan document. Mary Yemington made a motion to have the Commission Chairman prepare a letter of support for the draft of the Crook County Natural Resource Management Plan 2020; Morgan Ellsbury seconded, all ayes, motion carried.

USAF Draft EIS, B-21 Main Operating Base 1 (MOB 1) Public Review – Comment Letter

Vice-Chairman, Roger Connett opened discussion concerning the letter received from the Department of the Air Force giving notice that the Draft Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for the B-21 Main Operating Base 1 (MOB1) Beddown at Dyess AFB, Texas or Ellsworth AFB, South Dakota is available for public comment. Discussion was held about preparing a letter of comment. Morgan Ellsbury made a motion to take no action; Mary Yemington seconded, all ayes, motion carried.

Morgan Ellsbury made a motion to adjourn the meeting; Mary Yemington seconded, all ayes, motion carried. The Crook County Land Use Planning & Zoning Commission regular monthly meeting adjourned at 7:58 p.m.
