The Lady Wolves had two close matches last week. They travelled to Lusk and defeated Niobrara County in five sets, Moorcroft 3 Niobrara County 2 (21-25, 25-15, 22-25, 25-20, 15-12).
Against Lusk, we came together as a team in the end and stayed consistent, which was our goal. We were happy to put everything together and play well as a team in the fifth set to win the match.
The Wolves then travelled to Big Horn and lost in five close sets, (25-18, 25-19, 21-25, 24-26, 8-15). The team worked hard the entire match.
We had made some big adjustments since the first time we played Big Horn and it showed. We really took charge in our first two sets and stayed aggressive. Every set was close but, in the end, we fell a little short.
I am very proud of our improvement this season and we are making progress and moving in the right direction to get to our team goals. This match will help us keep working to prepare for the regional tournament next week.
