Moorcroft Police Report

October 12 - 18

On October 14, police were contacted by a business owner in reference to an issue with a renter. Officer contacted the complainant and explained that the complaint was a civil issue. Officer cleared.

On October 14, while patrolling around town, officer noticed an open door on a residence. Officer stopped at the residence and called out to anyone inside the residence with no one answering. Upon a second officer’s arrival, both officers entered the residence to ensure no one was in need of assistance or that no one was inside who shouldn’t be. House was cleared and door was then secured by officers.

On October 15, police assisted Moorcroft EMS on an emergency call.

On October 17, police assisted Crook County School District bus driver whose lights were not working on the bus they were driving.
