Regarding the project to install a new bathroom at Noonan Park, Moorcroft Public Works director Cory Allison reports that the old concrete foundation from the long-gone bathroom structure at Noonan Park has been broken up and taken to the landfill to be crushed and repurposed for future road beds. Water and sewer lines have been located and brought to the site with the assistance of R and S Plumbing.
The crews are concentrating on other municipal obligations this week, but will return Monday to make all connections, bury and compact the site and lay new foundation before turning the project over to Glenn Construction by the end of next week.
The park is currently closed to the public and will remain so, according to Allison, until the project is complete for safety reasons.
