Moorcroft Police Report

October 5 - 11

On October 6, police assisted Moorcroft EMS on an emergency call.

On October 6, police recovered an abandoned bicycle. If anyone is missing a bicycle, contact Moorcroft PD.

On October 6, police found an open door/window while conducting building checks. Building was checked and secured. Owner was notified.

On October 9, police were contacted regarding an alarm at a local business. Officers responded to the business while Dispatch contacted the owner. Officer and owner checked the building, and nothing was out of place. False alarm.

On October 9, police responded to a domestic disturbance. Officer spoke with both parties at the scene. Male suspect was arrested for Domestic Battery and Aggravated Assault. Officer transported the suspect to Crook County Detention Center without incident.

On October 10, police assisted Moorcroft EMS on an emergency call.

On October 11, police were contacted in reference to a hit and run behind Donna’s Diner. Officer was able to locate a make and model of the vehicle that hit the building from a security camera. Investigation is continuing.

On October 11, Police received a report of a possible domestic that had taken place on October 10. Officer went to the residence and made contact with the alleged victim. Victim denied any domestic taking place and explained what had happened. Officer did not see any reason to believe that a domestic had occurred. Officer cleared.
