Lady Wolves get their rhythm back

The Lady Wolves were back on the court again this week after a three-week hiatus. We started with our first home game of the season against Sundance.

The Lady Wolves had a bit of a slow start, but were finally in rhythm in the last set with a final score of Sundance 3-Moorcroft 0. This was a hard match to start with after not having any games for three weeks.

The team then traveled to Wright and fought hard on the road, but lost, Wright 3-Moorcroft 0.

It was a different story for Senior Day on Saturday, when the Lady Wolves played #5 Tongue River at home. The Wolves came together as a team and played as one unit for the win, Moorcroft 3-Tongue River 2.

This was a big momentum changer for us; we’d had three tough matches this week coming off of a break and we were happy to end the week on a big win. This was a team effort.

We set some goals for ourselves for this match, and we wanted to focus on having positive energy and to play for each other, and that is exactly what we did.

At the celebration of our three seniors, we honored players Tianne Fischbach, Alyssa Merchen and Teagan Timberman.
