Branding Day a major success for Whitcomb FFA

Branding day was a very successful event that brought an array of people to show what they are really about. The officers and older members had this event to bring supporters to the chapter and also welcome in the new members.

This year, the chapter really focused on giving back to the community by having hamburgers and a calf nut cook-off. For this year the chapter branded calf hides and raffled them off at the end of the event.

The chapter also showed local ranchers and townsfolk what we really represent in this community and that is we ride for the brand.

We also held a special thank you to the alumni and past FFA instructors by bringing their past FFA kids in and recognizing them for bringing this chapter to where it is today. Another main event was truly showing what our motto should mean to the new members.

“Ride for the brand” is our motto and that means to be loyal and bring 100% to every event and show that our chapter is there to prove a point. Showing this to the younger members during branding was key to having a year of hard work and dedication and to help show the world our chapter.
