Kailee Gill helps Hayleigh Fenner prepare her animal for Friday’s beef show at the Crook County fairgrounds. Animal shows were set to continue for the rest of the week, punctuated by entertainment in the form of comedy juggling, bubbles, extreme raptors and an ice cream social on Tuesday afternoon. Still to come this fair week is the youth rough stock rodeo on Thursday at 5:30 p.m. accompanied by the Matt Henry Big Bubble Show at 6 p.m. at the rodeo grounds. A free pancake breakfast will be prepared by the county’s elected officials on Friday morning beginning at 6:30 a.m. The weekend will bring the fair parade at 10 a.m. on Saturday, followed by the crowning of the rodeo royalty at 11:30 a.m. in the arena and the buyers and community BBQ at 3 p.m. in the shade structure; the junior livestock sale is scheduled for 5 p.m.
