Moorcroft Police Report

July 13-19

On July 13, officer unlocked a vehicle for an owner who had locked the keys in their vehicle.

On July 14, police noticed a suspicious vehicle at the Moorcroft Town Center. Officers checked the building and surrounding area, no one was located. Vehicle was later gone from the area.

On July 15, police received a REDDI report and complainant stated the vehicle and driver were at Coffee Cup. Officers contacted the driver who was found to not be intoxicated. Nothing further.

On July 15, police were asked to check the welfare of a person who was parked on the 153 off ramp. Officers contacted the man who was not in any distress. Nothing further.

On July 17, officer assisted Wyoming Highway Patrol with a vehicle search.

On July 17, officer assisted Moorcroft EMS with a non-emergency issue.

On July 17, police issued a 30-day notice for junk ordinance violation.

On July 18, police were contacted regarding harassment and possible threat of arson. Officer spoke with the victim who asked the PD to check on their home due to harassing statements and threats. Officers checked the home and the area for anything or anyone suspicious, nothing was found. Officers will continue to keep an eye on the area.

On July 19, police were contacted regarding a customer at Coffee Cup threatening employees. Upon arrival, the customer had left the store. Officers advised the employees to contact the PD if the person returned
