The MHS Promenade was held Thursday night with the theme, “Rollin’ the Dice at Jubilee.” The event was postponed from March due to COVID-19.
Generous volunteers put forth tremendous effort battling the Wyoming wind to provide a decorated outdoor space to fit the Las Vegas theme. Despite weather woes, Grand March was a great success.
Prom Coronation followed Grand March with Christian Robinson and April Miller being crowned the 2020 Prom King and Queen. Prom Court was Parker Seeley, Lizzie Peterson, Payton Timberman, Charmayne Delong, Rowdy Pfeil and Rilee Bonaguidi.
Freshmen attendants were Cami Connally and Gavin Reynolds; sophomore ushers were Kaylee Terry and Jacob Anderson. The crownbearers were Ellen Wood and Kobius Northup.
Parents and guests departed and the dance began in the street. Severe thunderstorm alerts went out and the fun moved inside the MTC. While the rain poured down, the students and a few chaperones danced the night away.
