More than 20 participants arrived at Dewey’s Place in Moorcroft with the Cruz the Valley Rally Saturday morning, where they enjoyed a breakfast burrito before picking up their first ticket at Donna’s.
The quest for the golden ticket started at Donna’s Diner in Moorcroft and traveled through the small towns and communities along Highway 14, 24 and again onto 14 to Beulah for a concert at the Sandcreek 333 Saloon.
The rally actually began in Gillette, but the tickets and festivities are all in Crook County, providing revenue and celebration throughout.
