Today, the Moorcroft Interfaith Community (MIC) released the data for their May food pantries. Numbers were up substantially.
“Up until now,” says MIC president, Monte Reichenberg, “Our highest number of clients for one of our regular twice a month pantries was 49 families. But at our last regular pantry on May 21 we had 69 families attend.”
Reichenberg went on to explain that the 69 families represented 93 youth under 18, 93 adults 19-59 and 40 senior citizens 60; 226 individuals overall. And when you combine that with the 23 families at the first pantry on May 7, that raises the total to 92...
