On March 30, police provided an escort for the Moorcroft K8 and High School teacher parade.
On March 30, police were contacted by a resident who was the victim of fraud. The victim had received a check in the mail and deposited the check with their bank. Check was then returned as fraudulent. Officer gathered all information from victim for report.
On March 30, police were notified of a REDDI Report leaving the Coffee Cup and headed toward Country Lane. Officer searched the area and was unable to locate the REDDI vehicle.
On April 2, police were contacted by the manager of a local business who requested extra patrols due to an irate person making threats. Officers conducted extra patrols.
On April 2, officer did a civil standby while two people exchanged several items.
On April 3, police were contacted in reference to theft. During questioning, it was determined the theft occurred in a different jurisdiction, so the victim was directed to the correct jurisdiction to help them with their claim of theft.
On April 3, police were notified of a Bobcat bucket on the interstate. Officer assisted with traffic control on the interstate near mile marker 152 until the bucket was pushed off of the roadway.
On April 4, police responded to a report of Domestic Battery at the Cozy Motel. Upon investigation suspected marijuana was located also. Subsequently two individuals were arrested and transported to Crook County Detention Center.
On April 4, police were notified of several juveniles that had created a “suicide pact”. Officer contacted the parents of the juvenile who lives in town limits and spoke with them about the information that was received. Crook County Sheriff’s Office contacted the parents in the county jurisdiction.
