Town Council Present: Mayor Dick Claar, Councilman Ben Glenn

Town Council Present by phone due to COVID-15 restrictions: Councilmen Owen Mathews, Paul Smoot and Dale Petersen

Town Representatives Present: Clerk/Treasurer Cheryl Schneider and HDR Engineer Heath Turbiville

Mayor Claar called the meeting to order at 5:00 pm and the Pledge of Allegiance was said.

Councilman Mathews motioned to approve the minutes and March Bill list 4 and Councilman Glenn seconded. Motion carried 5/0. Councilman Petersen motioned to approve March Bill List 5 and Councilman Mathews seconded. Councilmen Petersen, Mathews, Smoot and Mayor Claar yay and Councilman Glenn abstained due to conflict of interest. Motion carried 5/0.

Two bids were received on the lots north of Town Hall. Neal and Dee Gray’s bid was received for $1000 and Caleb Massie’s bid was received for $1500.00. Councilman Mathews motioned to accept the bid for $1500.00 from Caleb Massie and to abide by the stipulations listed on the Call for Bid and Councilman Smoot seconded. Motion carried 5/0.

With no further business, Councilman Smoot motioned to adjourn at 5:09 pm and Councilman Glenn seconded.
