Moorcroft Boys lose two at Regionals

This week the Moorcroft Wolves traveled and competed in the 2A East Regional Basketball in Torrington.

The first match up for the Wolves would be the number two seed from the South, the Cyclones from Southeast. This turned out to be one of the best games of the entire season.  A match up that was full of back and forth action that kept the fans on the edge of their seats!

The game would end up going into extra time as, at the end of the fourth, the Cyclones and the Wolves would find themselves tied at 43 apiece. The OT would prevail to just be as exciting as the first 36 minutes of play. But in the end, the Wolves came up short in this thriller of a game. Cyclones 50 - Wolves 47.

The second match up for the Wolves would be the Glenrock Herders, this is a do-or-die matchup. The Wolves jumped out to an early lead on the Herders. Then, the Herders would chip away and then maintain the lead for the game. The Wolves continued to battle the entire game, but the Herders would edge out the Wolves to end their season 53-34.
