Wyoming State FCCLA Officers traveled to Cheyenne, WY to meet with their local senators, representatives, governor and to plan for their upcoming State FCCLA Convention in March.
During their visit, the officers were given the opportunity to tour the newly renovated Capitol Building and get a small history lesson from the tour guide. They also witnessed Governor Mark Gordon signing a proclamation for CTE and CTSO declaring March CTE and CTSO month.
Governor Mark Gordon received many thanks from all Career and Technical Student Organizations and Career and Technical Education teachers for his continued support.
Wyoming State FCCLA Convention will be held in Cheyenne, WY March 25-27. Moorcroft FCCLA will be participating with 15 members, one adviser and one chaperone.
This year’s theme for state convention is “Grow Through What You Go Through” to help members to add to “Y(our) Story” through FCCLA. This year’s officer team has some great things planned for their members and cannot wait till March 24-27 to show off everything they have learned through the year.
