The Voice of the Community Since 1909, Serving Moorcroft and Pine Haven, Wyoming
Since the 1980s, Moorcroft Historical Society (MHS) has sought to help preserve the history of Moorcroft and the surrounding area. Support for the West Texas Trail Museum comes in the means of funds raised primarily from memberships, donations, fundraisers and support from the Crook County Museum District (CCMD).
Thanks to community minded citizens, West Texas Trail Museum continues to be a growing and vital part of Moorcroft.
Please consider this your personal invitation to join the Moorcroft Historical Society and support your local museum. By becoming a member of Moorcroft Historical Society, you will be part of the historical and educational preservation in your community.
The support given now will long be cherished by the historical society but also by those who visit the museum. This is a yearly membership and will be good now until February 1, 2021.
Membership dues entitle the member to 10 percent off all Museum Bookstore purchases, newsletters and “that good feeling” of support for the community.
Interested parties may get the membership forms at the West Texas Trail Museum at 100 E. Weston St. or contact Cynthia Clonch at 756-9300. West Texas Trail Museum is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and scheduled tours are available.
