The Wolves participated in the Powder River Classic in Tongue River last Friday and Saturday, playing three games over the weekend. The first game was against the Glenrock Herders, a back and forth game, with the Herders outlasting the Wolves, 65-58.
This game was good for the Wolves as there is a chance they could see the Herders again in the Regional Tournament.
The second game was the Wolves versus the Thunder Basin junior varsity team. The Bolts would tend to strike early and often from three-point land and beat the Wolves, 76 to 42.
The third and final game of the weekend featured the Wolves and Campbell County junior varsity. The Camels also started off very well from three point land and were able to get the best of the Wolves, 64 to 35.
The Wolves will travel to Hot Springs, SD this Thursday and Friday to compete in the West River tournament. The Wolves take on Hot Springs at 7:30 p.m. Thursday night.
