Wolves beat Red Devils in overtime

It was an exciting game to get 2020 started! We should have known it was going to be a close finish for this game as it was neck and neck the entire way. 

The Wolves and Red Devils kept the game close with a 14 to 14 score at the end of quarter one. In the second quarter, the Wolves would edge out the Red Devils, 26 to 22. 

Then, the Red Devils caught fire in the third and took a four point lead, 39 to 35. The fourth quarter would have its share of exciting moments, but none more than the last second shot made by the Wolves to send it into overtime with the score tied, 53 to 53. The Wolves would outlast the Red Devils, outscoring them, 11 to 2, in the overtime period.

The final score was Wolves 66 – Red Devils 55.

In Junior Varsity action, the Wolves beat the Red Devils of Hulett with a score of 21 to 18, a good start to the 2020 season. The Wolves and Red Devils kept this game close throughout and the Wolves edged the Red Devils by three.
