Seniors take on tech

The senior center in Moorcroft hosted an informal technology class last Thursday with Faith Anderson and Levi Lawery. Moorcroft Senior Center Board member Donna Ricks explained that the MHS seniors approached the center a couple of months ago asking for permission to offer this service to members and guests of the center. “We said yes because a lot of us have phones and don’t know what to do with them,” she says.

The youths arrived with pizza and the seniors, coffee and water. As everyone sat down to eat, the students began answering questions about cell phone apps, safety features, passwords and the different aspects of Facebook among other geek tech posed by technologically challenged members of the small group.
