Christmas on the Green

Pine Haven’s 14th annual “Christmas on the Green” celebration, sponsored by the Pine Haven Beautification Alliance was held at “R” Place last week.

Only about 35 guests attended, said Alliance president Aileen Byrne, which is down from previous years. “The last couple of years, we haven’t had that many people and I don’t know if it’s because people go someplace else or they have other plans,” she says.

Though this year’s event brought no participants into the competition of lights, many joined in decorating the scenes hung on the golf course fence and in making approximately $1100 in donations...
