The Voice of the Community Since 1909, Serving Moorcroft and Pine Haven, Wyoming
There were more Nativity sets on display this year than at any of the three previous collections, said Pastor Monte Reichenberg, member of the Moorcroft Interfaith Community, who sponsored the event. Around 40 guests gathered around the displays to appreciate the different mediums and styles with which the scene was recreated.
Sweet treats and beverages were provided as people visited and youngsters enjoyed playing games in the room and warmth of the MTC library as temperatures dropped outside.
The Moorcroft High School Choir had been scheduled to sing carols for the occasion, but was cancelled by MHS at the last moment. This did not, however, have undue influence on the celebrants, Reichenberg rallied the attendees who then gathered and sang the preprinted songs together.
