Moorcroft Police Report

October 21 - 27

On October 21, while conducting a traffic stop for speeding, officer detected the odor of marijuana coming from inside the vehicle. Subsequent search of vehicle found marijuana and a few vape pens containing THC. Officer released the driver after determining they were not under the influence. Driver was cited for Speeding 44/30 and Possession of a Controlled Substance plant form less than 3 ounces. Nothing further.

On October 23, officer assisted Moorcroft K8 with their School Bus Safety Program.

On October 25, police received a call in reference to suspicious activity in an empty trailer house in town. Officer was advised someone was inside the empty trailer and there was not supposed to be anyone there. Officer went to the trailer and was unable to locate anyone in or around the trailer and there was no sign of anyone having been in the trailer.
