Moorcroft FCCLA sending care packages to soldiers

Every year, hundreds of our men and women are deployed to serve our country, many of whom are from Wyoming. My name is Natalie Peters and I am a freshman at Moorcroft High School and a member of Family Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA).

This year I have chosen a project that is dear to me. My goal is to send 100 care packages to deployed soldiers. With your help and donations, I will be able to put together a box of goodies to send to our deployed soldiers.

To start my project off I have contacted the kindergarten and first grade teachers to help make pictures or drawings for the care packages. Moorcroft FCCLA also has a donation box in the front office of Moorcroft High School, Pinnacle Bank and Diehl’s Supermarket until November 8 for community members to drop off their donations.

Below is a list of things that our servicemen and women request. The items in bold are highly requested items and all other items are suggested.

If you would like to donate or volunteer your time or have any questions or concerns, please contact Felicia Sams at [email protected] or by phone 307-756-2685.
