On the Sanitary Sewer Main Replacement, Hot Iron is continuing with curb and gutter replacement. This will be followed by concrete pavement patches on Campbell, Crook, Weston and Goshen Streets. Streets in this area will be closed for periods of time as needed for replacement of pavement.
Temporary aggregate base patches will be used on Park and Goshen Streets; this is being done since pavement will be removed and replaced on those streets during Phase I of the Powder River Water Main Replacement project that will take place early next year.
This project included replacement of sanitary sewer services to the property line. However, there has been some interest by landowners to replace the remainder of their service line from the property line to their house and Hot Iron is willing to provide quotes to those interested for service line replacement. Bryan Garland with Hot Iron may be reached at 307-682-8702.
The project is anticipated to be substantially complete by early November with final completion taking place prior to Thanksgiving.
Due to an individual actually driving through one of the “Road Closed” signs that is in place on each area of project construction and subsequently through wet concrete, breaking the concrete cylinders beneath, there will now be strict enforcement of the closures until the road repair is complete per town council.
