Earl Barry Dennis, 54, of rural Crook County passed away of natural causes at the Dennis Ranch west of New Haven on July 17, 2019.
Earl was born March 12, 1965 in Belle Fourche, South Dakota to Raymond Lewis and Daisy Blakeman Dennis. He went to grade school at the Homestake School and high school in Hulett, Wyoming.
He graduated with an associate degree from Casper College. He spent his entire life on the home ranch on the Little Missouri River, driving a school bus for a number of years. He was a member of the Tower Lodge #44 AF & AM in Hulett. He enjoyed outdoor activity, working with hunters on the ranch and visiting with neighbors.
Earl is survived by brothers, Murray and Kelly (Rhonda) Dennis of rural Crook County; nephews, Wade and Cody (Kristy) Dennis; grandnieces, Kayla, Alicia, and Lindsey Dennis; grandnephew, Colby Dennis; his aunt Irene Blakeman of North Carolina; and numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents and all of his grandparents.
A short service will be held with burial of his ashes on the spot of his choice on the Dennis Ranch on Monday, August 12, 2019 at 2 p.m. A meal will follow at the New Haven Community Building.
Sandwiches and drinks will be furnished, and side dishes are welcomed. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made directly to the Buttons and Bows Homemaker Club or the Moorcroft Fire Department.
