Town crew repairs water leak

Last Friday, Moorcroft Public Works discovered a water leak at the rest area west of town. According to Public Works Director Cory Allison, the town crew dug up the line Monday to repair the leak and inadvertently tore the sewer line in the process, which, in turn, was fixed Tuesday morning. Wearing heavy gloves, the crewman cut the damaged area out and bolted a patch onto the black pipe as the WYDOT team cleaned the above ground septic tank.
