Moorcroft Police Report

On July 2, police were notified of a fire alarm at the Moorcroft High School. Officer responded and while en route the alarm was cancelled.

On July 3, police were notified by a resident that the front license plate was missing off of their vehicle. The victim wanted the PD to know in case someone turned it in.

On July 3, police were contacted in reference to theft of a wallet from a patron at Donna’s Diner. Upon reviewing the video from the diner, the officer was able to identify the person who took the wallet. Officer made contact with the person who took the wallet and they advised they did not mean to take it. Officer agreed as it looked like in the video that it seemed to be more of a habit of picking up a wallet and putting it in their pocket. Officer took the wallet to the owner. Nothing further.

On July 3, police assisted Moorcroft Ambulance Service with a lift assist.

On July 5, officer was flagged down by some children at the old Sinclair station. One of the children had crashed their bike and had a small wound on their arm. The officer helped wash the wound and bandage it. Officer will make contact with the guardian of the child.
