“When you’re in a jam, here I AM!” That’s the message for this year’s Vacation Bible School, with a Smokey Mountain flair! Folks, there’s fun for all.
Young and old are invited to join in the fun at Pine Ridge Community Church (15 miles north of Moorcroft on Highway 14). Chuckwagon-style cookouts and sing-a-longs for all will begin on Monday, July 15th at 7 p.m. and will be held every evening through Friday, July 19. VBS will begin on Tuesday, July 16th at 9 a.m. and will run through noon every day through Friday.
The Jamboree will be geared for youth ages 4 through grade 6, but younger children with a parent are welcome, and older students are also encouraged to attend.
The main dish and drinks will be provided each evening at the chuckwagon cookouts. Please bring a dish to share – and your singing voice or toe-tappin’ skills. VBS will include a Front Porch Hoe Down to kick off the day, games at ‘Gator Alley, story-time at Grandma’s Feather Bed, crafts at Pigeon Roost and learning about God’s presence in times of trouble at the Mountain Cabin Workshop.
