Moorcroft Police Report

On June 3, police assisted a motorist at Pinnacle Bank who was having a problem with their vehicle overheating. Officer gave the driver a courtesy ride to and from the Coffee Cup so they could get some coolant for their vehicle.

On June 4, police gave Emergency Fund assistance to a traveler in need.

On June 5, police gave Emergency Fund assistance to a traveler in need.

On June 6, police were notified by a resident that a transient was causing problems in the area of N. Yellowstone. Officer made contact with the man and found out that they were headed west. Officer gave the man a courtesy ride to Gillette. Nothing further.

On June 6, police assisted the Department of Family Services on a home visit.

On June 7, police were notified by numerous sources that a truck had dumped a truck load of gravel on the interstate near the 153 exit. Officer responded to the area and activated their overhead emergency lights to attempt to slow down traffic. Officer asked dispatch to call out the fire department to assist with traffic control. Officer stayed on scene to assist with traffic control for WHP while WYDOT cleared the roadway.
