First Lakeview Show and Shine draws a crowd

Car show entertains crowd in Pine Haven

The first Lakeview Show and Shine car show was held at Waters Park in Pine Haven Saturday afternoon. 120 guests and participants confronted a chilly gray day as they strolled through the many cars, trucks, jeeps and motorcycles on display before heading to the tables beneath the awnings to eat a hearty lunch of hamburgers, hotdogs, chicken, ribs or brisket.

The 32 vehicles were judged and the following are the winners of each class. 

Judges choice/Pre 1975: First Place - Mark Coleman's 1969 Yenko, Second Place - Lonnie Fuller's 1963 Ford PU and Third Place - Randy and Rebecca Blakeman's 1930 Ford A Coupe.

After 1975: First - Ron and Steph Mummert's 1979 Warlock, Second - Jim and Cindy Packers' 2015 Corvette and Third - Mark Coleman's 2018 Camero. 

Motorcycle: TC Mulloy's Harley Road Glide and TC Mulloy's Harley Custom

Jeeps: First - Lonnie Fuller's 2010, Second - Kelly Lang's 1977, Third - Mach 2004.

People's choice: Pre 1975: Jay Bauman's 1932 Duece Hellboy; After 1975: Ron Mummert's 1979 Warlock; Jeeps: Kelly Lang. 

Event coordinator Sharon Coleman later said, "We had a wonderful time even with the winter weather. We felt the turnout was great [and] we will sure do it again!"
