The Voice of the Community Since 1909, Serving Moorcroft and Pine Haven, Wyoming

Crook County Food Pantry

Because of the continued generous support of the people throughout this county, during the month of March the pantry aided more than 138 persons. This included 11 new clients, 45 under the age of 18 and 31 over the age of 60.

We shared food with the Blessings programs in Sundance, Moorcroft and Hulett, which collectively serve 150 youth under the age of 18. We also served 34 families at the Mobile Pantry held in Hulett on March 27, made possible by the Wyoming Food Bank of the Rockies.

There will be a Mobile Pantry in Sundance from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Friday, April 26 in the parking lot of the old grade school at 122 Hwy 585. Anyone who has a need for food is welcome to come.

April 2019 pantry dates and times: Sundance – Fri., April 5 and 19, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.; Moorcroft – Tues., April 9 and 21, 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.; Hulett – Wed., April 10 and 24, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Any Crook County resident who has a need for food may come to any of the three pantries for assistance. If you have any questions or if you would like to make a donation, please contact the Council of County Services at 290-0436 or PO Box 1381, Sundance, WY, 82729.
