The Moorcroft High School promenade was beautifully set within a fantastical forest themed The Enchanted Garden Saturday evening.
The student committee chose the this theme from four that were nominated and the junior class, consisting of 35 young people, began setting the stage last Monday with the assistance of teachers Steve Richter and Travis Santistevan.
The enterprise was completed Friday evening at 8:30 p.m. Of the 85 students who attended prom, 80 participated in the Grand March.
As the couples walked along the "path" that circumferenced the gymnasium floor, stopping at predetermined spots, camera flashes and cheers came from parents and friends in the bleachers on both sides of the "forest".
The king and queen of the 2018/19 prom were Blane Kissack and Courtney Feehan.
The promenade ended with their walk with their court to each side of the set to be photographed and congratulated by their peers.
