Moorcroft Police Report

February 11 - 24

On February 11, police assisted a resident who had fallen when getting into their vehicle parked in their driveway. Officer helped the resident get into their vehicle after insuring they were not injured. Nothing further.

On February 11, police issued a 30-day junk ordinance violation notice to a residence.

On February 14, police assisted DFS while they interviewed a couple of juveniles.

On February 15, police assisted Moorcroft EMS on an emergency call.

On February 15, police assisted Wyoming Highway Patrol on a crash scene on Highway 16.

On February 15, police assisted Moorcroft EMS on an emergency lift assist.

On February 16, police contacted in reference to a vehicle being driven into the water run-off area by the schools. Officer arrived in the area and did not find a vehicle in the area nor any tracks indicating a vehicle was there. Unfounded.

On February 17, police assisted Wyoming Highway Patrol, Moorcroft Fire and EMS with a crash on I-90 at mile post 153.

On February 18, during a routine traffic stop, driver was found to have an active warrant out of Campbell County. Officer issued a warning for the traffic violation and arrested the driver for the warrant. Driver was transported to Crook County Detention Center without incident.

On February 21, police assisted Game and Fish on a call near the area of West Crook Street for a report of an injured/sick antelope.

On February 21, police were contacted in reference to a domestic in progress. Officers arrived on scene and made contact with the male and female subject causing the disturbance. Officers did not believe any physical altercation took place, only a verbal argument. Nothing further at this time.

On February 21, police received a call in reference to a stray black lab running loose in the area of N. Belle Fourche.
