Confident Wolves conquer competition

On Friday night, the Sundance Bulldogs came to Moorcroft to take on the Lady Wolves. The Wolves got off to a good start with their full court pressure and were able to take a 29-12 lead into the half. The Wolves were able to convert on some opportunities in the second half and won the game, 61-29.

I was pleased with how we started the game and were able to keep our energy up throughout the game. Our full court pressure created some opportunities for us and we were able to convert.

On Saturday night, the Lady Wolves traveled to Tongue River to take on the Lady Eagles. The Wolves jumped out to an early 18-9 lead before going into the half up 29-19.

Our energy wasn't as good in the first half as the night before. After some adjustments at halftime, the Lady Wolves closed out the second half on a 31-10 run and won the game 60-29.

We did a better job of executing in the second half. I thought our depth and full court pressure was able to wear them down in the second half. Overall, it was a good weekend for the Lady Wolves.

The Wolves return to action on Friday when they play Southeast at home. Game time is 3 p.m. for JV and 5 for Varsity. On Saturday, the Wolves take on Lusk in Moorcroft. JV game is at 12:30 p.m. and Varsity at 3. Come out and support your Moorcroft Wolves!
