With the consistent growth of Pine Haven, Royal Neighbors of America (RNA) has their work cut out for them every spring as they fill children's beach buckets with trinkets and local business coupons for new residents. The Moorcroft Interfaith Community (MIC) started as an idea among a couple of local church leaders about 18 months ago. Junior Class Thanks Community On March 9, 2019 the Moorcroft High School Junior class hosted the annual Prom. The theme for this year was Enchanted Garden. In a change-up from prior years, the entire gym was decorated with both sides of the bleachers available for seating. A 20-foot tree adorned the center of the gym with a fully draped ceiling, a waterfall, flowers, lanterns, bushes and candles to give the whole room a soft, romantic feel. The Gillette Chamber Singers, including Moorcroft’s own Paul Ormseth, and the Powder River Symphony present their spring concert, Glorious Together, on Saturday, March 16, 7:30 p.m. at the Thunder Basin High School auditorium in Gillette. The Moorcroft Senior Center hosted a Chili Feed fundraiser Sunday afternoon in their continuing efforts to open their building on South Big Horn Avenue. Though the weather was cold, around 50 guests attended.
