    The Moorcroft Senior Center hosted a Christmas dinner and a visit from Santa last Thursday evening. The meal served about 38 guests and the carried in dishes were thoroughly dispatched.     A state of Wyoming veterans service officer from the Wyoming Veterans Commission will conduct community outreach services around Wyoming cities throughout January. Clifford Knesel is available to meet with veterans and their families to discuss state and federal veterans’ benefits, Department of Veterans Affairs claims, or VA healthcare.     The Moorcroft Interfaith Community (MIC) has released the numbers for those served through their Food Pantry in November. In November the MIC served 100 persons through the food pantry. Of those, six were senior citizens, 52 were minors and 42 were adults.     There were more Nativity sets on display this year than at any of the three previous collections, said Pastor Monte Reichenberg, member of the Moorcroft Interfaith Community, who sponsored the event.     During the month of November, the Pantry served 212 people. This included six new clients, 81 under the age of 18 and 55 over the age of 60. Items needed this month include cereal, jelly and soup. These items may be dropped off in donation boxes at the Crook County Library, 414 E Main St, or in the lobby of the school district’s Central Administration Offices at 122 Hwy 585, in Sundance.
