    Pine Haven’s EMS and fire as well as other friends celebrated their time knowing and working with Bob Rudichar and wife Ruth Saturday evening as they said farewell to the couple, who are retiring to New Mexico. The couple has lived in Pine Haven for over five years, Bob being hired at that time as the minister of the now defunct Vineyard Church.     A small group of Pine Haven residents came together in February to discuss the possibility of instigating a senior center and to better determine whether the town would support a senior center of their own.   • Volunteers needed for cemetery clean-up

    Volunteers are needed this year to clean the Moorcroft Cemetery. Without the crews usually provided by the Honor Farm, there are no workers to ensure the annual clean up of this special place.     There are many stories of citizens and organizations that have and continue to reach out to neighbors during these trying times and this one comes from Pine Haven. At the beginning of the quarantine, several residents who continued to drive to Gillette for work spontaneously called into town hall offering to collect groceries, medicines, etc for their elderly neighbors and ones with compromised health who could not travel.     With the retirement of Pastor Bob Rudichar and the subsequent dissolution of the Vineyard Church, the building was recently offered to the town of Pine Haven for purchase at the price of $30,000 with all equipment included and the council agreed to the offer at last Tuesday’s meeting.
