    The kids of the First Presbyterian Church of Moorcroft had their Christmas Program Sunday, December 18. The star of the show was, as always, the live pony.     The Whitcomb FFA's fifth annual Candy Cane Classic was a success and had a great turnout. It took place on Saturday at the Moorcroft Community Center and included a chili dinner and two cook-off contests.     Saturday afternoon saw the 15th annual Harvest Feastival, sponsored by the Moorcroft Area Chamber of Commerce (MACC), celebrated at the MTC with 250-275 guests partaking. The MHS National Honor Society served 19 different soups to guests and judges throughout the evening.     For a second year, the Moorcroft Senior Center, in cooperation with Donna's Diner, has celebrated Veterans Day with free breakfasts for the warriors, past and present. Seventeen vets and their guests enjoyed a warm morning meal and time among others who share many memories. Army veteran Arnie Altaffer and wife Penny enjoyed the breakfast.     Many members of the Pine Haven Over the Hill Gang senior group worked together to bring local veterans a celebratory recognition of their contribution to this country and the people who live here Saturday.
