The annual Easter egg hunt in Pine Haven drew more than 40 kids this year to seek out an estimated 1500 eggs hidden inside and out. The eggs were placed with varying degrees of difficulty for the four age categories. Three of the kids won baskets and the rest of the 14 prize winners won chocolate bunnies and stuffed animals. Coaches for both the girls' and boys' basketball teams celebrated the season and the progress and sportsmanship of the Wolves at the annual banquet last Thursday evening. We’ve been busy here at the library! The staff traveled to Hulett for a meeting there two weeks ago. We had a volunteer that day; thank you again Lillian Sullivan. We have a traveling display of Roadside Lodging in Wyoming. It is on loan from the Wyoming State Archives and will be on display the month of March. Moorcroft is featured on one from 1950. Pine Haven is planning a new park and, to match a 50/50 grant for which the recreation board is hoping to apply soon, Sharon Coleman purchased a couple electric scooters and a Mongoose bicycle in both adult and child sizes to be raffled off. Logos, a nondenominational youth event, will meet on Wednesdays. Logos staff will meet the elementary youth at the Moorcroft K-8 building at 3:55 p.m. near the sixth grade pods and escort them to First Presbyterian Church.
