Lincoln Sage Hardy was born on April 15, 2022 in Gillette, WY. She was seven pounds three ounces and 19.5 inches long. Lincoln was welcomed by her parents, Thayne Hardy and Whitney Blakeman, and her proud big brother, Branch. She is the perfect addition to their little family and is already so loved! The Moorcroft Area Chamber of Commerce has rescheduled their Murder Mystery Night – better known as the Moorcroft Business and Citizen of the Year Dinner – for Saturday, October 23, at 5 p.m. due to COVID-19 exposure. The agency is sorry for any inconvenience, but considers the safety of guests and members paramount in this situation....
The county commissioners will be convening at 10 a.m. on Thursday in the commissioners' room of the courthouse for a special meeting to discuss redistricting for Region 5, which encompasses Crook, Campbell and Weston counties. In last week’s article, “Moorcroft ordinances to be enforced”, a few residents voiced their concern over the reference to branches needing to be “…14 feet off the streets” at the end of the second paragraph on the front page. To clarify, branches must be maintained 14 feet above the street to not hinder visibility....
In the article, “LOGOS to restart January 8” in the December 31 issue 53 of the Moorcroft Leader the actual date of Logos to restart this year is January 13....

The Moorcroft Leader would like to clarify the caption under the picture of the Pine Haven Community Center and senior center in last week’s issue on Page 5. The building is first the community center for all town residents and will house the senior center as a separate entity....
Local Beef: In last week’s article about local beef used for lunches at the Moorcroft schools, a name was spelled incorrectly. The beef was donated by Janet A. In last week’s edition of the Moorcroft Leader, on the front page under the heading “Council catches up on town business”, the second paragrapah seemingly suggests that the town insurance company is planning to pay for all of the roof damage on the MTC. In fact, while the company will be paying for roof damage, the amount will be minimal.... Full story

A word of thanks As some of you may already know, I’m no longer practicing at Crook County Medical Services District. My plan at this time is to continue working at my other places of practice, while looking at possibly changing specialties. After a number of years of practicing Emergency Medicine, I’m excited at this opportunity to consider making a change. My plan was to practice for many years here in Sundance.
