On page 7 of last week’s Moorcroft Leader, in the article “Bike raffle for new park…” clarification has been requested. The grant, of which the original source for the story spoke, has been abandoned by council. “We had the option to,” recreation board liaison Kristy Speed later explained, “[but] due to the stipulations, we chose not to do it.” The board had received $30,000 in their 2022/2023 budget to build this park and Sharon Coleman is raffling the bicycle and scooters under her own initiative to donate all proceeds to the recreation boar...

In last week’s issue, in the article regarding the Knotty Pines subdivision, we quoted a member of the Pine Haven Volunteer Fire Department’s concerns that the person who drew up the site plans 13 years ago is now the head of the agency that approves said plans. This information was not correct.
