Pine Haven EMS and Fire is gearing up by training for possible calls during the winter months. On Monday, November 25, Pine Haven EMS held a CPR training, teaching how to save people's lives. Around 12 personnel showed up from Pine Haven Fire and EMS to further educate themselves on saving lives. The goal of the training was to teach firefighters and EMS personnel on what they should do when they arrive at the scene of an accident. By Many residents of Pine Haven and Moorcroft have received letters stating that their water lines are made of an unknown material. Lead pipes are the main concern, and the letters also mention the harmful effects that can be caused by lead. Pine Haven Mayor Karla Brandenberg talked about how the Environmental Protection Agency is trying to get rid of lead in water lines. Viva (Fries) Hauber, 101, of Burke, South Dakota, was welcomed into Heaven on November 18, 2024 at the Community Memorial Hospital in Burke. Viva was born January 18, 1923 in Bay City, Oregon, to Mary (Fischler) Fries and Harvey Clifton Fries. She graduated from Bay City High School in 1940 and was Valedictorian of her class. Average gas prices drop more than 7 cents in past week in Wyoming CHEYENNE (WNE) — Average gasoline prices in Wyoming have fallen 7.4 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $2.95 per gallon Monday, according to GasBuddy.com’s survey of 494 stations in Wyoming. The Moorcroft Interfaith Community (mic) pantry served 416 households for Thanksgiving this year, which will translate to about 1200 meals as we average about three persons per household. These households come from all over Crook, Weston and E. Campbell counties. This is an all-time record for households served for any pantry, eclipsing the 2023 Thanksgiving pantry, which served 369 households, and 361 households served in 2022.
